The EV Myth
Electric cars are only good for city commuting. They can’t be used for a Road Trip.
The EV Myth Busted
Today the average range of an EV is 380km, this is improving all the time.
Taking a break every 200 to 250km (2 to 2/12 hours driving) is a good practice and charging speeds are now such that this should only require a short stop.
As charging infrastructure improves and chargers become as common as petrol stations, range anxiety will reduce further and road trips will become even easier.
Like most modern cars, EVs have arange meter, which is sometimes called a guess-o-meter. Are they really so inaccurate? Find out in our Guess-o-meter explainer.
